1) Package structure - top
- www-2.3.4 - template files for osCommerce v.2.3.4.
- patch only for v.2.3.3 - template files for old osCommerce v.2.3.3.
- patch only for v.2.3.3.4 - template files for old osCommerce v.2.3.3.4.
- documentation - documentation files for current package.
- psd - all layered psd sources.
2) Install Instructions - top
- Step 1
Download and install osCommerce v2.3.3. Download page Installation manual
- Step 2
upload content of www folder from theme package to the catalog oscommerce folder on webserver.
Note: Setup Binary transfer mode for you FTP client.
For FileZilla go to Transfer -> Transfer type -> Binary.
You should have
- If you use old version of osCommerce - 2.3.3 or 2.3.3.4 upload files from one of corresponding folders: patch only for v.2.3.3 or patch only for v.2.3.3.4
- Step 3
Restart your web browser. Open frontend. You will see Unishop theme.
- Step 4
Go to admin panel to manage your products.
Notice: If you get
"Error: Invalid administrator login attempt" here are steps to fix this:
Now the admin account has been successfully created. Type the admin details again to enter the admin panel
3) Store Settings - top
Change logo
To change logo goto: Admin panel - Configuration - Store Logo and upload new logo image
Manage left column blocks
To change blocks in left column goto: Admin panel - Modules - Boxes. Here you can enable/disable block and set block's sort order.
Manage navigation menu
Navigation menu shows your store categories. To add/edit categories goto: Admin panel - Catalog - Categories/Products and manage you categories.
4) How to change color scheme - top
To change color scheme go to admin panel. In left column choose Theme settings - Theme color. Select needed scheme and press Save button
5) Sliders - top
a) How to swith slider type
To swith slider type go to admin panel. In left column choose Theme settings - Slider type. Select needed type and press Save button
b) How to manage Simple Slider
To change slide option goto: Admin panel - Tools - Banner manager - Choose needed banner - press Edit button.
To change slide URL edit Banner URL: field.
To change slide image upload new image to Image: field.
c) How to edit Layer Slider
To change slide options you should edit following files
- To manage slides positioning, effects edit file \unishop_theme\unishop_blocks\top_slider.php
- Slider script confugurating file - \unishop_theme\unishop_js\layerslider.kreaturamedia.jquery.js
- Initial parametrs - slider initialization (for light and dark themes respectively) - \unishop_theme\unishop_js\slider-light.js for light version and \unishop_theme\unishop_js\slider-dark.js for dark version
- Upload slider images here - Layerslider\images\slider
- Main styles, generally for both themes - \unishop_theme\unishop_styles\layerslider.css
- Markers image, some styles configuration (for light and dark themes respectively) - \skins\dark and \skins\light
6) Theme Blocks & Files - top
Unishop theme files are located at Unishop_theme folder
- unishop_styles - CSS style files
- unishop_js - JS script files used in theme
- unishop_images - theme graphical files
- unishop_blocks - theme blocks. Main page sliders, blocks in the header and footer, custom product page block.
7) CSS framework - top
This theme use Skeleton - css framework for responsive, mobile-eriendly development.
8) JavaScript - top
This theme use following Javascript files.
- jQuery is a Javascript library that greatly reduces the amount of code that you
must write.
- jCarousel is a jQuery plugin for controlling a list of items.
- html5shiv - JavaScript shiv for IE to recognise and style the HTML5 elements.
- cloud Zoom is a free jquery image zoom
plugin.
- Elastislide is a Responsive jQuery Carousel Plugin
- Selectbox - jQuery select box
- Tweet is a plugin to load tweets from the Twitter
- LayerSlider - The Parallax Effect Slider (Extended Licence)
9) PSD File - top
I've included six PSD file with this theme:
- unishop_black_home.psd - dark home page
- unishop_black_listing.psd - dark product listing page
- unishop_black_product.psd - dark product info page
- unishop_light_home.psd - light home page
- unishop_listing.psd - light product listing page
- unishop_product.psd - light product info page
PSD file are sliced and you can find any image according your needs.
All the layers inside of the PSD are grouped in few folders. You can easily specify/find any element of the design.
Stock images aren't included into the package.
